Hi, I'm Claudia Cordova Rucker.
I’m the founder of Beyond Ordinary Business.
I see a real problem with the status quo of service-based businesses—entrepreneurial poverty is everywhere. The very businesses entrepreneurs built for freedom are instead draining their time, energy, and money, trapping them in exhausting cycles of scarcity. This is especially true for first-generation entrepreneurs, who don’t have access to inherited business wisdom, traditional networks, or financial safety nets—making it harder to navigate financial decisions, access growth opportunities, and recover from setbacks without the safety net that many second- and third-generation business owners have access to.
I know firsthand that entrepreneurial poverty isn’t just financial hardship—it’s the lack of resources, support, and strategy that leaves business owners overworked, underpaid, and disconnected from the life they envisioned. And I’ve learned that the answer isn’t just more sales, more marketing, or working harder. Change starts with redefining what it means to be truly resourced— prioritizing having the financial clarity, structure, and support to lead your businesses growth in a way that feels sustainable and fulfilling.
That’s why I founded Beyond Ordinary Business—to be a solution to entrepreneurial poverty. We provide first-generation service-based entrepreneurs with the financial clarity, structure, and strategic support they need to break free from survival mode and build something sustainable. Through our Aligned, Present, and Profitable Methodology™, we help business owners step out of exhaustion and uncertainty and into a business that supports their life—not drains it. Our work transforms businesses from chaotic and unsustainable to profitable, intentional, and fulfilling—giving entrepreneurs the confidence, tools, and freedom to scale in a way that works for them.

How I Got Here
Let's get a little dreamy and woo. My purpose is to create spaces where people evolve in harmony. I think of business as a laboratory for liberation—a space where we’re constantly experimenting with new ways to create value, generate profit, and contribute to human flourishing.
That’s why I founded Beyond Ordinary Business™—to help service-based entrepreneurs build businesses that reflect their values, create steady profits, and feel expansive rather than exhausting. I especially love first-generation business owners who haven’t had access to inherited business wisdom, capital safety nets and traditional networks.
If I could wave my magic wand all service business entrepreneurs would be their authentic version of a Beyond Ordinary Businesses™. These businesses would not only sustain their founder—they would transform teams, communities, and entire industries.
I’ve seen it firsthand, what is possible in the businesses I’ve built and led, and I know it’s possible for you, too.
In 2005, my sisters Karina and Cindy and I founded our first spa, Aqua Skin and Nail Care, which went on to win several awards.
I am proud of our achievements -- but they came at a great personal cost. (We’re going avoid doing that in YOUR business)
In 2019, I founded Estetica Mia and committed to building business practices that care for clients--
while also creating a kinder, more humanized work culture for employees.
In addition to my MBA from the school of hard knocks, I have a B.A. in International Business Management
from Franklin University Lugano, Switzerland
In 2013, 2017, and 2018, I was recognized by the California Senate for my excellence in leadership and contribution to my community’s economic growth
I designed my triple bottom line, beautiful business framework, called Beyond Ordinary Business, that delivers

We also developed The Aspire Training Program
to provide our employees with continuing education, financial literacy, and on-the-job training, and most importantly, on-the-job experience.
